The app collects nothingNo accounts, no tracking, no ads. Progress stays on the device.
Name and email only if you askThe website collects a first name and email address only when a parent signs up for the guide and news, or writes to support.
Never soldWe never sell personal information or share it so others can advertise to you.

1. The SumPup app

SumPup is designed for children in kindergarten to 2nd grade. The app does not collect, store or share any personal information from children or parents. There are no accounts, no sign-in, no ads, no analytics and no third-party tracking in the app.

Your child’s progress, pets, outfits and cards are saved only on the device. We cannot see them. Deleting the app, or removing a child in Settings, removes them.

The app has no links out to the web, social media or other apps, and no way to chat or share. Everything meant for grown-ups sits behind a grown-up check.

2. Purchases

The one-time unlock is processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We don’t receive your name, payment details or account information. The store only tells the app whether the unlock has been bought. Apple’s and Google’s own privacy policies apply to purchases.

3. The sumpup.app website

If you sign up for the free Parent’s Math Decoder and SumPup news, we collect your first name and email address. We use your first name to address you in our emails, and your email address to send you the guide, short math ideas and emails from SumPup and Lumivert Labs about new features, new apps, launches and offers. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email.

If you contact support by email or with the form on the Support page, we use your message and email address only to help you. If you tick the box to receive news, we also add your name and email address to our email list. Messages sent through the form are collected with Google Forms.

We don’t use analytics or advertising cookies on this website. Our email list is stored with Kit, and the site is hosted by Vercel. They process data only on our behalf.

We never sell personal information, and we never share it with other companies so they can advertise to you.

4. Children’s privacy

We follow the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and app store rules for kids’ apps. Because the app collects no personal information, no parental consent is needed to use it. The website’s email signup and support form are meant for parents and adults only. If you believe a child has given us an email address, contact us and we’ll delete it.

5. Your choices

You can ask us to see, correct or delete the first name and email address we hold for you, and you can unsubscribe at any time. We keep first names and email addresses until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them, and support messages for 12 months.

6. Changes

If we change this policy, we’ll update the date above. If a change affects how the app handles data, we’ll say so in the app’s release notes first.
